Horse Art Craze Is Sweeping Home Listings

Don’t be surprised to see horse artwork displayed in the latest real estate listings. The noble horse is the current reigning champ of staging art, Curbed.com reports. Why the sudden fascination with horses? “The only explanation I can give is that stagers generally don’t own ‘real’ artwork, and buy it from big box stores like Home Goods and TJ Maxx, and much of that art tries to appeal to the largest possible audience with animals and pleasant landscapes,” Ruth Storc, a designer whose work has been shown on HGTV’s House Hunters Renovations, told Curbed.com. “Also, horses go along with the Native/Western design trend that has been going on for a while.” Check out these listing samples that are utilizing horse art.
